Oregon Baptist was founded in 1874 and located south of Terre Haute, Indiana. 
 We share the good news of God’s unconditional love for Terre Haute, our nation and the world. Jesus Christ is our living example and the Holy Spirit is our guide. We worship as a community and as individuals, through prayer, ministry, study, sharing faith stories, Biblical reflection, the Lord’s Supper, music, mission, and outreach. Oregon Baptist is a loving church that feels like family.  Oregon is affiliated with the American Baptist Churches USA.  (The American Baptists Churches USA has a congregationalist polity emphasizing local church autonomy.)
