Mountain Top Ministries was founded on a spiritual commitment to the people of Haiti. By building a school that doubled as the church, the villagers could see and feel the shift from voodoo to Christianity. The village began to prosper as Willem Charles, the founder of MTM, taught the farmers how to rotate crops and laid PVC pipes from a natural water spring to their land. The year-round farming brought a better economy, and the church/school brought a sense of community. The church, itself is the village hub, a place for all to gather and celebrate life at every level.
